Parish Programs
Adult Programs
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
This enriching program is designed to offer spiritual guidance and a warm welcome to people who are seeking to become new members of our Catholic faith community. It is also beneficial for people who are baptized Roman Catholics but who may have been away from the Church for some time.
Adult Faith Programs
Periodically, our parish offers a variety of Christian programs which instruct, inform and inspire a deeper understanding of Christianity and our Roman Catholic faith. These programs (such as Alpha, Touching Jesus Through the Church, Catholics Listening to God etc.) are all presented in a similar format over a 7 – 10 week period involving videos, small group discussions and plenty of opportunity for development of friendships and faith enhancement.

Sacramental Preparation Programs
Sacramental Initiation Process
On September 9th, 2007 our parishes became a part of the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador. Catechetical directories from the diocese suggest that Confirmation would be celebrated in grades 6-10. Considering this, sacramental preparation for children in grade 2 includes the celebration of Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and Sacrament of Communion (Eucharist).
The Sacramental Initiation Process starts on Catechetical Sunday (first Sunday of October). Throughout the year, during the 10:00 am Sunday Mass children go downstairs for the Liturgy of the Word and catechesis. We have a few special sessions for parents/guardians and their children during the process.
Marriage Preparation Course
This course is offered once a year and focuses on the spiritual, financial and legal aspects of marriage with communication being a key component of the day. The marriage preparation course is mandatory prior to the sacrament of marriage in the Roman Catholic Church.
Baptism Preparation Session
Approximately once a month from September to June, we offer Baptism Preparation for new and expectant parents who seek baptism for their child. Godparents are strongly encouraged to attend the session as well. This session usually takes place after Sunday morning 10:00 am Mass and takes about 1 hour. Parents are urged to register for Baptism preparation well in advance of their anticipated date of Baptism.

Ministere Francophone
